Our Hong Kong Foundation organised the 15th session of “INSIGHT FORUM” with Mr Gordon Wu, Chairman of Hopewell Holdings Limited, who spoke on “Reclamation: Myth and Miracle”. Mr Michael Wong, Secretary for Development of the HKSAR Government, was invited as a special guest delivering an opening remark.

The century-old Romanesque underground reservoir at Bishop Hill in Hong Kong has recently raised the public’s awareness of preserving heritage buildings, to the extent of striking a needed balance between urban development and heritage conservation. In the 14th “INSIGHT FORUM” webinar organised by Our Hong Kong Foundation, a panel of eminent experts and scholars spoke on “Exploring Spectacular Architecture in Hong Kong”, and discussed the city’s historic architecture and their preservation.

Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) organised the 13th INSIGHT FORUM, in which Professor Hsin-kang Chang, President-Emeritus of City University of Hong Kong, was invited to speak on ‘Vibrancy of Civilisations—Historical Perspectives and Future Way-out’. Professor Chang undertook a historical review of human civilisation developments, pointing out that humankind shares a single origin with the world co-owned by all peoples. Harmonious co-existence, international cooperation, and complementation among civilisations are essential conditions for humankind to build a great and new world together.

In the 12th ‘INSIGHT FORUM’ webinar organised by Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF), Dr Victor Fung, Group Chairman of Fung Group, shared expert views on how Hong Kong—which has played key roles in the trade and growth of both China and Asia—should adapt to the new global economic environment, and the new vision for Hong Kong as a trading centre and global supply chain orchestrator.
