The Hong Kong Chronicles Institute launched the second book, Hong Kong's Participation in National Reform and Opening-up Chronicles, at Government House on 6 December. Director of the State Council’s Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Xia Baolong keynoted at the launch with Chief Executive Carrie Lam officiating. Both highly lauded the book and the good work of HKCI.

Eva Cheng: RCEP Opens up New Opportunities for HK
OHKF President Eva Cheng calls on Hong Kong to grasp the enormous opportunities brought about by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). Hong Kong should strengthen collaboration with the GBA to tap the huge economic growth opportunities from RCEP.

“Twin Cities” Photo Exhibit Showcases HK-GZ Ties
To highlight the long-standing socio-economic ties between Hong Kong and Guangzhou, the HKCI and Guangdong Local Chronicles Office co-hosted the “Twin Cities” Photo Exhibition, which is open until 8 January 2022 in Hong Kong. Chief Executive Carrie Lam and Vice Governor of Guangdong Guo Yonghang delivered congratulatory messages for the event.

Debut Participation in Learning & Teaching Expo
To help schools better teach history, culture, and national education, the Academy of Chinese Studies, China Institute for Knowledge, and the Hong Kong Chronicles Institute jointly participated in the Learning & Teaching Expo 2021. Diversified learning materials were displayed, which support teaching and enrich learning experience.
