On 6 February 2026, Deputy Research Director Victor Kwok, Research Manager Peter Lam, and Researcher Vivian Le met with Member of the Legislative Council Ray Wong and his team to discuss how Hong Kong's New Industrialization (NI) agenda can develop and position advanced, high-value industrial activities by leveraging its distinctive strengths. The discussion encompassed various NI case studies, the characteristics that would make NI work, and key challenges alongside potential policy opportunities for the Hong Kong Government and ITIB Hong Kong.
