2024 Policy Address is releasing on 16 October. Ryan Ip, Vice President cum Co-Head of Public Policy Institute, Our Hong Kong Foundation, hopes the Government can revive the tourism industry in 3 aspects, including 

1) increasing the duty-free allowance for luggage articles for Mainland visitors; 

2) developing more local movies and cultural tourism products; and 

3) adding clearance facilities at designated yacht clubs. 

As he suggested, the Government may consider implementing concepts such as “one island, one resort” at suitable locations to enhance the appeal of island tourism.
