Anthony Y.H. Fung is Co-Director of Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies, Director of Global Studies Program, and Professor in the School of Journalism and Communication at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is Professor in the School of Art and Communication Under the National Global Talent Scheme and Director of Center for Digital Content and Creative Media at Beijing Normal University. His research interests focus on popular culture, youth studies, cultural industries and policy. He is editor of some major international journals on communication and cultural studies and currently chief editor of Global Media and China. He published widely in international journals, and authored and edited more than 20 books. In Hong Kong, he is currently member of Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations and Chair on Media and Research Sub-Community of the Independent Commission Against Corruption, Board of Advisor for Radio Television Hong Kong under the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, and member of Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) under the Education Bureau.
