Kenny SHUI

Kenny is Vice President cum Co-Head of Public Policy Institute at Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF). As part of his work at OHKF, he conducts policy research on various aspects including Economic and Technology Development, Fintech, Green Finance, Biotechnology, Gerontechnology, Art Innovation and Social Innovation. Over the past few years, his research teams have published quite a few of market-leading reports to promote Hong Kong's development in areas such as Central Bank Digital Currency, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Green Bonds, Hong Kong-Shenzhen Biotech cooperation and Hong Kong’s Gerontech Ecosystem, from various perspectives, contributing to the development of Hong Kong. Kenny was also invited to speak in different international, national and local forums and seminars, and meanwhile has published articles in newspapers to promote policy implementation.

Prior to joining OHKF, he was responsible for a variety of research work in different organisations including the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and worked as a Statistician in the HKSAR - Census and Statistics Department. He is also a graduate of The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics and a Master of Philosophy degree in Economics. He is currently a member of the Steering Committee of the Gerontechnology Platform and actively offers advice for the development of Gerontechnology Platform.
