Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, Mount Fanjing is rich in wildlife resources, including endemic endangered species. With active conservation Mount Fanjing’s precious forest ecosystem has been maintained in its original state. Rare species on the verge of extinction, such as the handkerchief tree and the Tibetan macaque are preserved here.
