Victor Kwok: Developing an International Education Hub - Enhancing the Primary and Secondary School Ecosystem
2025 Policy Address is releasing on 17 September. Victor Kwok, Deputy Director of Research at Our Hong Kong Foundation, stated that Hong Kong is highly attractive as a study destination internationally. To develop an international education hub, the Government must also focus on strengthening primary and secondary education. On the other hand, a stronger education ecosystem would supply our universities with outstanding non-local students, helping cultivate and supplement the talent Hong Kong needs.
He hopes the Government will open some places in public or subsidized secondary schools to non-local students, repurpose vacant school buildings into boarding schools.
