Mr Augustine WONG

Mr. Wong Ho Ming, Augustine is the Executive Director of Henderson Land Development Company Limited and has extensive experience in real estate development. He is overseeing the property development opportunities and managing the land holdings of Henderson, a prominent player in the property development field and a blue chip listed company in Hong Kong. He is specialized in the acquisition of aged properties in the urban areas for redevelopment purpose as well as acquisition of agriculture land in the New Territories for conversion to development sites. He has also been contributing in various ways to the housing issues of the people in need such as transitional housing using MIC in both the urban areas and the New Territories.

He is Fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, as well as a registered professional general practice surveyor and holds a Master Degree of Science in E-Commerce for Executives and a Master Degree of Economics.

He is currently Member of Legislative Council (Real Estate and Construction FC), Deputy Council Chairman of Lingnan University and Convenor of The Construction Sub-Committee of The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong. In 2021, he has been awarded the Outstanding Alumni by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was Chairman of The Real Estate Services Training Board of Vocational Training Council, Member of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Board of Advisors, Member of The Appeal Board on Public Meetings and Processions, Member of The Statistics Advisory Board, Member of The Long Term Housing Strategy Steering Committee, Member of The Hong Kong Housing Authority, Member of The Land and Building Advisory Committee, Member of The Estate Agents Authority, Part-Time Member of The Central Policy Unit and Member of Commission on Strategic Development Committee On Economic Development And Economic Cooperation With The Mainland.
