Mr Vincent MA Wai-hung

Mr. Vincent Ma is Managing Director of Soma International Ltd., a private family business where he has gained more than 30 years of experience in the toy industry. Vincent was Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong Exporters’ Association from 2012 to 2024; and, he has been an Executive Committee Member of the Toys Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong since 1998. Vincent devotes his time also on the Hong Kong community front. Vincent has served as School Supervisor of the Chan’s Creative School (Hong Kong Island) (啟基學校(港島)), a government-aided primary school in North Point, Hong Kong, since 2008; and, he has been a School Manager of the Chan’s Creative School (啟基學校), a private primary school in Yau Yat Chuen, Kowloon since 2002. Vincent was a Member of the Import/Export/Wholesale Trades Training Board of the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council (VTC) from 2014 to 2021. Vincent also takes part in community service through the Rotary Club of the Peak, in which he was Director from 1994 to 2000 and President from 1998 to 1999; and he is currently an active member of the club as Past President. Vincent also takes up leadership roles in other non-profit community organizations including the North Point Kai-Fong Welfare Advancement Association (北角街坊會), in which he serves as President presently. He served as Vice-Chairman of the Council of Hong Kong and Kowloon Kai-Fong Association (港九各區街坊會協進會) from 2022 to 2024. Vincent was appointed by the HKSAR Government Home Affairs Bureau as District Council Area Committee Member of the North Point District to advise and support public affairs at district level from 2014 to 2020. Vincent was conferred Medal of Honour (MH) by the Government of the HKSAR in 2021. Vincent also participates in the areas of education overseas. He has been a Board of Trustee Member of Stevenson School, a coeducational K-12 private school in Pebble Beach, California, since 1998. He was a Board Member of the Family Business Program Advisory Board at Columbia Business School of Columbia University in New York City, New York, from 2016 to 2019. Vincent graduated with a MBA degree in Finance from Columbia University and a BA degree in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is married with two children.
