Honghe Hani Rice Terraces in Yunnan took 3,700 terraces steps to reach the top terrace.

Over 1,300 years old, the Hani Rice Terraces were added to the World Heritage list in 2013. Its unique farming culture resulted in an eco-protection system of the “forest, village, rice terraces and irrigation system”- a miracle in the history of agriculture.
