Jockey Club “Exploring Chinese Culture” Ambassador Programme — Chinese Culture Funfair 2026
The finale of the Jockey Club “Exploring Chinese Culture” Ambassador Programme — the Chinese Culture Funfair — will be held at Tai Kwun’s Parade Ground from August 14 to 17.
The funfair will showcase the fruitful achievements and outstanding works of over 240 Cultural Ambassadors, along with a wide variety of interactive workshops and craft experiences. Visitors can enjoy activities such as Hanfu costume try‑on, fan‑making, and the Luban lock challenge, offering hands‑on fun with traditional Chinese culture — perfect for families and children.
In addition, daily cultural and artistic performances will take place at designated times, including puppet shows, acrobatics, and Chinese dance. Audiences may even have the chance to interact with performers.
Admission is free, with a stamp collection game on site where participants can redeem exquisite prizes. The public and tourists alike are warmly invited to join and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Chinese culture!
The programme is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, organized by Our Hong Kong Foundation, and executed by the Academy of Chinese Studies.
