What is the current situation of our brownfields?
Brownfields are abandoned farmlands which now have other purposes, such as
carparks, cargo sites and tyre collection points. At present, there are 1,300
hectares of brownfields scattered across the whole New Territories with
varying sizes. About 760 hectares of brownfield have not yet been included in the
current plans of development.
